Negotiating is both an Art and a Science. This will be a very practical, experiential and fun workshop where you’ll learn how, when and why to negotiate.

California Law, effective January 1, 2023: California Employers must post Salary Ranges. Not in CA? Be sure and check your state’s policies on this. (Here are some states that also require disclosures about salaries to varying degrees: Colorado, Washington, New York, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Maryland, Hawaii, and New Jersey.)

Knowing the pay range allows you to decide if you even want to apply to a specific job and helps you map out your career. And once you get an offer, you’ll know how far you can take the negotiation process.

The CA law is in effect for all employers with 15+ employees. And your current employer has to disclose salary ranges for your position upon request. So … Request it!
